I was told the grinder is far more important that the espresso machine if you're serious about making proper coffee. This stepless grinder has a fantastic range for grinding from espresso to cafetiere and is so precise that a single notch on the scale plus or minus can have a dramatic effect on the outcome of the shot. I choked the espresso machine using the first 10 settings on the grinder scale showing how fine this machine can actually go and so far I have been totally impressed with its performance. At time of purchase it was around the £150 price point but the manufacturer did offer a decent discount code on purchasing direct. Looks brilliant on the worktop alongside the Sage Bambino Plus. Been using it for almost a week now and stil discovering the perfect grind.. love the looks and how silent it is!

The grind dial shifts while grinding. I've tried cleaning and applying molykote 111 grease but no change, i think the 3 springs might be the issue they barely protrude above the surface.

I bought this grinder after watching a YouTube review. I was using a very good hand grinder and developed tennis elbow. I wanted something to rest my arms and was low on funds. I'm so glad I got it. It looks really nice, it's very sturdy, it's quiet and grinds nicely. It has some benifits over my $600+ broken grinder. I like that it can be turned on before adding beans, I like the wooden top. I have an old Faema that likes the grind very fine and it handled it with ease . Not a fan of the popcorn shield because the beans get stuck, I also didn't like the material the bellows was made of, but that's very much personal preference. I used the bellows off my old machine instead. Grind setting is effortless, so smooth. It's such a great price and customer support was very responsive. Excellent purchase.
