Where Do Wirsh & Geimori Orders Ship From? A Clear Shipping & Tracking Guide

Wirsh and Geimori Shipping & Delivery Guide – Local warehouse and factory-direct shipping

Wondering where your new coffee grinder or espresso machine will ship from? We want you to know what to expect before you order: where we fulfill orders, why some packages travel from China, when tracking becomes available, what delivery estimates mean, and what costs may apply.

1. Where will my order ship from?

United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Australia: We prioritize local warehouse fulfillment whenever the ordered item is in stock. If a particular model, color or configuration is unavailable locally, we may ship it directly from our factory in China.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil: We can also fulfill eligible orders from our US warehouse, depending on product availability and cross-border shipping arrangements. If US warehouse fulfillment is unavailable for your order, it may ship directly from our factory in China.

Europe (outside the UK): Depending on the item, destination and available inventory, we may fulfill orders from a suitable regional warehouse. If regional warehouse stock is unavailable or a different route is more appropriate, we may ship directly from our factory in China. The shipping origin can vary by order.

Other destinations: Orders are generally shipped directly from our factory in China.

Fulfillment choices: local warehouses in US, UK, Japan and Australia first when in stock; otherwise shipping directly from the factory in China.

Local or regional warehouse availability may differ by item and destination. A shipping address in a market served by one of our warehouses does not guarantee domestic fulfillment for every order. Shipments from our US warehouse to Canada, Mexico or Brazil, or between different European countries, may still be international deliveries and can involve customs clearance and applicable import charges depending on the route.

2. Why do we sometimes ship directly from China?

Factory-direct fulfillment is one way we balance availability, operational efficiency and customer value.

Three reasons for factory-direct fulfillment: flexible inventory, lower handling costs, and access to newer production batches.

It does not mean every factory-direct item was just manufactured, nor that every direct-shipping order has a lower individual price. It means we can avoid some unnecessary warehousing, improve availability and keep value in focus.

3. How does shipping from China work?

Depending on your address and the available shipping arrangement, we may use consolidated cross-border parcel shipping or an international express courier.

Consolidated parcel shipping: why tracking comes later

Some standard cross-border parcels first travel with other shipments during an international consolidation stage. They then pass through customs in the destination country before being transferred to a local delivery carrier for the final leg.

Consolidated parcel flow: China dispatch, consolidated international transport, destination customs clearance, local carrier handover. Tracking typically appears after local handover.

Already shipped, but no tracking number yet? For our consolidated parcels, a customer-facing tracking number typically becomes available only after customs clearance and handover to the local delivery carrier. Your package may already be traveling internationally even when no trackable number is available. This process does not describe all express courier shipments.

International express shipping

Express shipping generally includes priority handling and faster transport, where offered. Tracking is often available earlier than with consolidated parcels, depending on the courier. However, an express service still depends on customs clearance and carrier operations, and may be delayed by inspections or other disruptions.

4. What do delivery estimates actually mean?

The delivery window displayed on our website or at checkout is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. Timeframes are generally shown in business days unless otherwise stated. The transit estimate may not include order processing; for consolidated parcels, the movement through consolidation, international transport, customs and final local delivery can affect total time. Standard and Express estimates may overlap.

Situations that can change the estimated delivery time

  • Stock or processing: local stock is unavailable, a selected variant requires a different fulfillment route, or an order needs additional preparation.
  • Consolidation and international transport: parcels may wait for a consolidated shipment and may pass through multiple logistics hubs.
  • Customs: random inspections, import paperwork, duties assessment or requests for additional information can lengthen clearance.
  • Carrier and destination: local-carrier handoffs, remote-area deliveries, public holidays, severe weather and transport disruption may affect the schedule.
  • Pre-orders and split shipments: pre-orders follow their separately disclosed shipping schedules, and parts of a multi-item order may arrive on different dates.

Customs and carriers sometimes request information directly from the recipient. Please respond promptly if this happens. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you with an updated estimate where available and help investigate. Where applicable law requires it, you may have the option to accept revised dispatch timing or cancel for a refund. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Will shipping involve extra costs?

Shipping charges and import charges are separate. The available Standard and Express shipping options and their shipping fees are shown on our website or at checkout. We currently advertise free Standard Shipping on eligible orders of $249+ to the US, UK, Australia and Japan, subject to checkout eligibility. This is not a promise that customs charges are included.

Possible charge When it may apply
Shipping fee Shown at checkout based on eligible service, order and destination. Free Standard Shipping may apply to qualifying orders.
Import duties and import taxes May be assessed by destination-country customs on international shipments. Unless the order explicitly says included or prepaid, these are generally payable by the recipient.
Customs clearance or carrier processing charges Depending on the country and service, a carrier or customs broker may collect clearance, processing or disbursement fees.
Exceptional carrier charges Address corrections, failed delivery, storage, redelivery or return-to-sender handling can sometimes create charges under carrier rules. Whether any amount applies, and who is responsible, depends on the circumstances, order terms and applicable law. Please contact us if you receive an unexpected request.

Standard vs. Express and import charges: Express Shipping does not normally include import duties or import taxes; for Standard Shipping, inclusion can depend on the destination and shipping arrangements. The terms expressly shown for your order determine whether any fees are included or prepaid.

Good to know: We do not charge additional shipping merely because we change the fulfillment method after you place your order. If you are asked to pay charges that your order says were included or prepaid, contact us with your order number and the payment request before taking further action. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer help with import charges on a case-by-case basis, but assistance is not guaranteed unless confirmed.

6. How do I check my order's progress?

We email tracking details when they become available. For consolidated parcels, that may be after destination customs clearance and local-carrier handover. Express or local-warehouse orders can follow a different tracking timeline. If items ship separately, they may have different tracking numbers and delivery dates.

If tracking has not appeared yet, it does not necessarily mean the shipment has not left our factory. If you have a question, email service@mywirsh.com with your order number and we will help check its status.

Quick shipping FAQ

Do all US, UK, Japan and Australia orders ship locally?

No. We prioritize local stock when available; some orders ship from China instead.

Can my order to Canada, Mexico or Brazil ship from the US?

Yes. Eligible orders may be shipped from our US warehouse when inventory and cross-border delivery services are available. Otherwise, we may ship directly from our factory in China. The route varies by order.

Can European orders ship from a regional warehouse?

Yes, where suitable warehouse inventory and shipping arrangements are available. Otherwise, we may ship from our factory in China. The fulfillment location depends on the product and destination.

Why doesn't my consolidated parcel have a tracking number yet?

The customer-facing number generally becomes available after the parcel clears customs and is transferred to the local delivery company. It may already be in international transit.

Does Express guarantee delivery on a specific date?

No. Express is generally faster where available, but its estimated delivery window may overlap with Standard and may change during customs checks or other disruptions.

Who pays import taxes or handling fees?

It depends on your destination and the terms displayed for the order. Unless explicitly shown as included or prepaid, applicable import charges are generally the recipient's responsibility.
