Wirsh 15 Bar Espresso Machine with Commercial Steam Frother, Brushed Stainless Steel

Less than a month so far. This was replacing a Krups XP6010, whose pump had gotten weaker over 5-6 years, and could not handle the proper fine grind.

Observations:
Packaging - includes some styrofoam, not recyclable.
Design is good. Automated controls (stops after a certain amount of water has been pumped through the grounds), is a plus over my prior machine.

Would be nice to ditch the two outlet filter holder and just go to a single outlet, but this can be worked around.

True test will be in a year or two - will the pump still be working well? Only time will tell.

From the very first cup, we were impressed with the quality of the machine and the coffee it produces. The steamer takes a bit of finesse, but once we got the hang of it, it produces foam that is smooth and long-lasting. The manual could be a bit more complete, but there are plenty of YouTube videos that helped us fill in the blanks. The one thing I would change is the rubber feet. We have several countertop appliances with suction cup feet and I think this machine would benefit from that because installing and removing the tight-fitting “porta-filter” can cause the machine to slide around and suction cups might make it easier for that to be a one-hand operation. All in all, an excellent value and the mostly-metal construction makes it easy to keep clean, We’re glad we made this choice.

We discovered the Wirsh 15 bar espresso machine after doing a lot of research. We feel fortunate to have stumbled on this company as this machine makes better coffee than more expensive machines, and we have had quite a few. We look forward to our morning coffee with great pleasure!

I’ve worked in the coffee industry for 30 years, including stints as a barista, barista trainer, and espresso machine repair. I recently moved and have been unable to find a coffee shop of any quality, so thought out fork over the money and buy one for home. I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a $1k machine when I came across this little gem. No, it’s not as good as a $1k machine, but it’s way way better than I expected for $130. Espresso pulls great, with a wonderful amount of crema. Time to get to temp is almost unnoticeable. Steam wand is a huge bonus feature, and takes about 20s to heat up after pulling espresso. Easily create textured milk of any kind (I use oat) and have been getting back into making latte art. This is a surprisingly great little machine for the price!
